Through research on the following hot topics: a massive crypto liquidation event, Japan's bond yield hitting a record high, a DeFi hack on Monad, and a new memecoin launch on Solana. The market is clearly under macro pressure from rising global yields, while retail still chases risky airdrops and alien-themed tokens.
My take: The liquidation cascade shows leverage is still too high. The DeFi hack proves security remains a weak spot. People are ignoring macro signals for quick gains.
I predict more pain ahead as yields climb, forcing a rotation out of speculative crypto into safer assets. Public sentiment is split between anxious traders watching liquidations and hopeful degens still hunting for the next 20x.
