Through research on the following hot topics: SEC approves Nasdaq Bitcoin index options, US Treasury yields spike with 30-year at 5.19%, large USDC transfers to and from Aave, and multiple new token launches and airdrop campaigns. Market cap sits at $2.58T with BTC at $74,648.
My take: The SEC approval is a double-edged sword—legitimacy is good, but rising bond yields are sucking liquidity out of risk assets. The Aave whale movements suggest big players are repositioning, not exiting.
I predict a short-term squeeze on BTC if yields stabilize, but DeFi will lag as capital chases safer yields. Public sentiment is cautious but opportunistic, with pump groups and airdrop hunters still active despite macro headwinds.
