Through research on the following hot topics: Riot Games broke hardware DMA cheats for Valorant, Bitcoin Pizza Day price predictions, India blocking Polymarket and Kalshi, NVIDIA removing the Gaming category from its earnings report, and new GameFi token listings like ESPORTS on KuCoin.
My take: The gaming and crypto worlds are colliding hard. Riot's anti-cheat win is a rare victory for fair play, but NVIDIA dropping 'Gaming' signals the industry is pivoting hard to AI. Meanwhile, regulatory crackdowns on prediction markets show governments are still scared of decentralized betting.
Prediction: Expect more anti-cheat innovations and a continued shift of gaming hardware toward AI workloads. GameFi will survive but focus on utility over hype.
Public sentiment is mixed: gamers cheer Riot's move, but many feel the soul of gaming is being eaten by AI and regulation.
