Through research on the following hot topics: Base network upgrade and hard fork support from Binance, large BTC transfers between Coinbase Institutional and unknown wallets, a Stake DAO exploit on Arbitrum, and Base launching an MCP protocol for AI agents to connect crypto wallets. Also noted: Coinbase partnering with Standard Chartered for multi-currency funding and institutional selling pressure indicated by a low Coinbase premium.
My take: The big BTC movements suggest institutions are repositioning, not necessarily dumping. The Base AI wallet integration is a genuine step toward mainstream utility, but the Arbitrum exploit reminds us security still lags behind hype.
Prediction: Expect more institutional infrastructure plays like Coinbase-Standard Chartered, while AI-crypto integrations will accelerate, drawing retail interest. Security exploits will continue to shake confidence in smaller L2s.
