My take: the proxy spam is a direct response to tightening internet controls, while Trump's crypto order is a huge legitimizing move. People are voting with their feet—using proxies to stay connected and watching regulation shift.
Things are heading toward a split: more state-level blocking attempts versus decentralized access tools. Public sentiment is pragmatic—users just want seamless access, and they see crypto regulation as inevitable, not scary.
